The Iron Trail
Harley-Davidson Dealer Lineage History
Behind every dealership is a story — of owners, of communities, and of the iron horses that passed through their doors. The Iron Trail traces those stories, one location at a time.
Click any dealer on the map to explore its family history — see how locations changed hands, moved addresses, and evolved over decades. A list of related dealers will populate on the left, sorted by year opened where available. Click any dealer in the list to zoom to that location and view its full history.
Dealer icons are color-coded by verification status:
- Verified — history confirmed through primary sources
- Partially verified — some history confirmed, research ongoing
- Not verified — location mapped, history research not yet started
⚠️ History research is ongoing. New records are added regularly.
